A downloadable game for Windows

Sneaky Bug Catcher was originally a prototype made as a solo student project within the timespan of 8 hours. Since then a team of 6 developers have gathered with the intent on turning this into a fully realised indie game. After over a year of development we've finally decided to call it complete.

The game allows you to explore an area with the goal of catching as many bugs as you can within 2 minutes. After your time is up you return to home base where you're able to sell and store bugs. Selling bugs gives you credits which you can spend in order to purchase upgrades to your inventory and access to new areas with more bugs.

Catching bugs is simple, all you have to do is press and hold the left mouse button over a bug to lock on to them, which should make a ring around them to appear. The ring will change from red to yellow to green depending on your distance, when it's green you can release the mouse button to swing and catch the bug, but you have to be fast as the ring disappears over time.

The game is quite short in length but you're able to take a break at any time without fear of loosing progress thanks to the games autosaving feature.
